kramer (2406), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 26, 2008 Draft pint at brewery. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a small tight bubbled white head. Nice nose! Bready crackery malt with a wet juicy jalapeno accent. Like cutting into a pepper right off the plant. The jalapeno doesn’t overwhelm the flavor though. Up front it has almost a sweet green pepper like flavor. Finishes with crackery malt and jalapeno with minimal to no heat. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a fairly crisp finish and moderate fizzy carbonation. Overall, the more and more that you have of this the more the jalapeno gets more aggressive. I think that I have to give this some extra kudos for being so subtle at first but coming on stronger at the end. This was one of those beers that would be not as great if you only had a 4 oz sample of because you really have to let your palate be acclimated to the peppers.
