Commercial Description:
A very pale lager made in the with a generous amounts of German whole Tradition hops, and a special strain of lager yeast. Fermented at chilly temps this little creation is clean & crisp with a spicy hop finish.
FKA "Lil Budgie Pilsener", the recipe has evolved in to a more bitter, but essentially similar beer over the years.

Pint at Selins Grove. Lightly hazy golden yellow colored body, with around 10-15% opacity. Clean, hoppy, snappy and dry nose. Some grassiness tasted, some hay and crisp pilsner malt and a really nice fresh and crisp saaz-like bite. One of the best pilsners I’ve had in a while.

The first of a series of good brews by this brewpub couple. Fruity aroma. Light yellow with lace. Above average crabonation, malty at first and then the hops are tasted. Drying aftertaste.Fresh.

Draft, Selin’s Grove Brewing Co. Pours a clear, yellowish-golden color; off-white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Good show of citrus and mineral hops in the aroma. This is one hoppy pilsener: tons of mineral and citrus (maybe even a hint of pine) hops upfront, with a crisp biscuit / sugary malt profile behind; a pleasant jolt of bitterness throughout. Citrus and mineral finish.

On tap at brewpub. Pours a light gold with fine bubbled white head, lots of carbonation rising. Clean and crisp hop aroma with some light crystal malt notes, and a little grainy. Spicy hop flavor but a little off in the finish. Palate is thin and light bodied with moderate carbonation, but to style I suppose. Overall nothing great, my least favorite beer from them.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a cloudy yellow-golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma was lightly grainy and tangy. The flavor was crisp, sour, tangy and had light floral hops. The finish was long and bitter with floral hops. Mediocre.

Tap @ brewpub. Comes to the table a beautiful, glowing, hazy, straw/golden color. The medium strong head fades slowly and leaves a lightly sticky lacing. Aroma starts with strong white bread/white biscuit maltiness. There is even a light fruit highlight, not strong and descriptive, not sure if it is hops or yeast but it is there. A bit of an herbal hop kick in there as well. Taste is similar with a nice medium mouthfeel. There is less hoppiness initially in the flavor but it kicks in in the end of the flavor. There is a bit of lemon at the end of the flavor as well. It is very delicious and fun to drink.

Hazy golden, thin white head. Pleasant German noble hop aroma. Clean. Malty + German hoppy flavors. Crisp nice hoppy finish. Very nice pils.
