Commercial Description:
Traditionally made strong & highly hopped so it would keep on its long journey, from England to India during British rule. This one is a BIG & BAD,misbehaving, India Pale Ale, wonderfully bitter beer with a spicy aroma, some fruity characteristics and a lingering hop finish. A great aperitif! (Something Normal All ‘Fouled’ Up)

On draft at Selin’s Grove. Pours a dark amber color with a thick off white head. Aroma of pine, hops, spice, honey and orange citrus. Flavor is the same as the aroma. Has a pine, malt, orange citrus, and bitterly hoppy flavour.

Another gem from JW77. Johnathan you are just too generous my friend. Pours an amber color. Nice white head. Resin and citrus hops. Flavor is full of resin, citrus, spice and good bitterness.

Draft at Selins Grove Brewpub. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Grassy grapefruit hop character with lighter pine and citrus notes. Some light hop resins and grassy finish. Nice.

On draft at the brewery. Pours a dark caramel sandy brown with a creamy medium sized beige head. Aroma of freshly squeezed orange citrus, bitter hops and light spice. Taste of orange citrus, bitter hops, honey lemon tea and light spice. Very nice.

On cask at the brewpub. A glowing super-fresh hop juice pours out of the glass. Rich, orange sweet and piney. Nice aroma! Pours darker than average. A rich copper-orange tending sienna. A frothy soap in dark khaki rides the glass all the way down. Prickly cask carbonation. Flavor is just as rich as the aroma. A cask-bodied malt marries with cascade-like hops, very spicy, orange and fresh. Delicious! The cask is a good delivery for this example. A very nice IPA.

On Handpull: aroma is big and piney with citrus spice and some biscuity malt. flavor was all hops, but in a very balanced way, this is a like a way better version of a Dogfish Head IPA. medium bodied. excellent ipa

On tap at the brewpub. Extremely dark pour for an IPA, could confuse it for a porter. Robust hoppy flavor but not overdone.. Intense and an excellent IPA.

On Draft @ the Brewpub. One of the darkest bodied IPAs Ive ever seen. Dark red. Extremely strong hop aroma. The taste is smooth with a bitter, hoppy finish.
