Commercial Description:
A warming golden Belgian style ale, traditionally brewed by monks. Our Triple is made with Belgian candi sugar and a special Belgian yeast strain. We carefully age it to round out this beer's complex characteristics.

Tap @ brewpub. Golden pour with a huge white head. Fruits and sugar fill flavor and nose but alcohol kind of killed it for me, even though its not as high as other high abv beers.

hazy gold pour. Small head. Aroma is very nice. Spices, yeast, apples, honey and tropical fruit. Flavor is sweet but not cloying. Yeast, honey, apples, pears, banana, bread...good.

Draft at Selins Grove Brewpub. Pours a golden hazy body with a white head. Citrus, pear and juicy juice like flavor. Lighter pineapple, candied sugar notes and a mild warming. Eh i wasn’t crazy about this one.

Growler, courtesy TheCheeseMan. The pour yields a very cloudy, glowing, golden-tangerine colored body. A small, foamy, white blanket settles in quickly, leaving just a thin rim around the edge. Just a few scant spots of lacing dot the glass. The aroma is sweet, showing golden raisins and orange marmalade, with hints of lemon peel and some banana phenols. The yeast profile is doughy, with some mildly spicy floral hops coming through as well. The flavor is similar, centrering on blonde candy sugar and sweet light fruits, with citrus and banana again featured prominently. Bready, doughy yeast again plays a big role, perhaps too much of one, in fact. Mild spice emerges on the finish. The body is big and sugary, but smooth, with micro-fine carbonation. Finishes sticky. Ultimately, too sweet and yeasty for me, but it’s a decent example of one of my least favorite styles.

Courtesy ChzMan from a growler sent by kramer. Hazy yellow/gold and a bit of white carbonation. Yeast forward, strong Belgian golden. Sugary. Full body, balanced mouthfeel. Not my style, but drinkable.

Pours a clear yellow orange colour with a thin almost non existent white head. Aroma of peaches, mangos, guava juice,  papaya. Flavour is same as the aroma but less powerful. This beer smells better than it tastes but it’s still quite good.
