Very cool! It poured a deep copper, slightly amber. Good sized whitish head and some lacing. Great aroma of citrus and floral piny hops alongside a sweet, robust malt spine. 7.5% ABV well hidden. This is a gem of a beer. I woud go so far as to say it is one of the best west coast IPAs I’ve had in some time. Finished extremely well balanced for an IPA with a hint of grapefruit and a nice bitter tinge. Yum! DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of bready caramel malt, citrus, hops. Tastes hopcitric, caramel malty, with some floral and spicy notes as it warms. Stays bready, citric, and hoppy, with a somewhat dry mouthfeel. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 19, 2007 Pours light, looks like a pilsner. Aroma similar to IPA, but faint. Flavor is light, cross between pilsner/lager/IPA, really weird. Kinda off IPA, in the traditional sense. DYCSoccer17 (2201), Davis, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 17, 2007 4 ounce sample on tap at California Brewer’s Festival. Hempy aroma initially, which becomes more floral. Light pine and peppery hop aromas also present themselves later. Transparent dark golden body with a frothy, fluffy, white head. Straight forward herbal, spiced, hoppy flavors. Light pine and light grapefruit. Toasted, light caramel malts in the middle. An ok, non-flashy straight-forward brew.
