Grovlam (3790), Copenhagen, Denmark Jun 12, 2009 Bottle @ Yosemite National Park and drank while washing the Half Dome. What an experience and the only way to enjoy this beer I guess. Average fin bubbled white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Light cloudy orange golden color. Aroma of light yeast, fruit, citrus, wheat, hint of banana and what appeared as somewhat spicy. Light bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet and light acidic flavor. Light fresh yeasty fruity sweet finish. Quite nice, but it could have been effected by the surroundings. Gypsy19 (603), California, USA Mar 8, 2009 Purchased at Grocery Outlet at Watt & Whitney in Sacramento County. Aroma and flavor are pretty contemporary of hefeweizen with apricot, peach, spiciness and wheat/bread. Actually better than I expected as I only paid $4.99 for a 6-pack. Actually, this stuff is decent. Not great, but good. Overall, good. bhensonb (4187), Woodland, California, USA Dec 11, 2008 Bottle from Grocery Outlet in Woodland. Brewed in Roseville. Slightly hazy orange gold color with a multifinger white head. Smells of citrus hop. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is wheat, citrus and something more. It’s a really tasty wheat. Finishes somewhat astringent. Really refreshing.
