yogster (4), Visalia, California, USA does not count Jul 25, 2007 I agree with (redave). This is one of the better IPA’s I have tried . I have been searching for some time now for the perfect IPA and this one is the best so far. Not overly bitter and a very creamy head and just the right amount of flowery Cascades. waolsen (1220), Littleton, Colorado, USA Aug 7, 2006 tap. dark golden, slight copper, tiny bubble head. nice lacing. hops, grapefruit and spices aroma. hops, fruit is too tart, dry finish. Grapefruit overpowers hops. It wasnt an appealling grapefruit flavor. very disappointing. redave (133), squaw valley, California, USA Apr 1, 2006 This is the what an IPA should be! Almost perfect! Nice Golden straw color. Nice grassy h!oppy aroma [depending on it’s freshness i suppose] Well balanced full mouthfeel. Kevin is one of the Great brewers! Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark Oct 4, 2005 On draught. Tasted during trip to California. Golden clear colour with a little hoppy nose of citrus. Flavour of hops and fruit that ends up bitter, nearly too bitter and dry for an ordinary IPA. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA Mar 14, 2005 Well balancedIPA. semisweet malt with a forward mouthfeel. Some cookie and grain notes. Balance soft bitterness very cascade nose bordering on metallic. flutetokill (515), Fresno, California, USA Nov 16, 2003 Clear coppery color with a white head, nice lace. Very faint cascade hops aroma. Sweet malt and very heavy cascade hops flavor. Crisp bubbly feel, with a dry finish. loweredsixth (942), Fresno, California, USA Nov 16, 2003 Vlear gold color. I'm quickly becoming bored with this brewery's beers. Aroma is faint (again) with citric hops. The flavor was hugely hoppy...very bitter and burnt. Very dry finish.
