This was an interesting beer. A variety of flavors hit the tongue and aftertaste when drinking this beer. It is almost a sweet beer with hints of caramel and citrus really standing out. Slightly bitter in the aftertaste, but it balances out the sweetness very well. I’m not a big fan of APA’s and this one isn’t bad! fiver29 (726), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 2, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Irishboy. Pours a slight hazy amber color with a thin white head. Has a nice nose to it with some slightly spicy floral hops. Mouthfeel is light. Tastes like a rough around the edges pale ale with some rough caramel malt blending with some hops that don’t seem to be in the right proportion. Overall a nice brew. heemer77 (4312), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 15, 2006 The body was a clear dark gold with a white colored head. The aroma was grapefruit and some caramel. The taste had some bread crust along with light grapefruit. There was also a hint of tobacco. This was nice smooth and light. Hop heads probably think that this is watery. I call it balanced. BeerLimey (1873), California, USA

Clear dark straw pour with aroma of berry, caramel malt, hopcitrus, and a big strawberry note. The flavor was caramel malty, with a big fruity, blue and strawberry flavor. Medium palate. Rerate: Just rated a new bottle from beer on the wall, and I’m kicking the taste and overall scores down a tenth, as it was a bit more watery this time.
