yellow, frothy white head, drippy lace,
sweet malt aroma,
sweet malt flavor with a mix of malt sweetness and butterscotch, nice bitterness falls short of balancing the sweetness, loose the dyactyl and it may balance out nicely,

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 27, 2007 Enjoyed at the 13th Annual Southern Brewers Festival. Pours a golden straw color with a frothy white head. Lightly grassy/grainy aroma that is somewhat crisp. Grassy and very lightly spicy flavor. Plenty of cereal grain and just a hint of something musty at the finish. Medium slight wet mouth feel with a semi-dry finish. Fair. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 16, 2007 I get a whiff of grain/cereal aroma and little else. The body is yellow/gold and holds a diminishing white head. Malt, grain and light toasted bread botes. Not very well hopped for a pilsener with muted noble notes, but decent enough in the taste department. nick76 (2657), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 24, 2007 The aroma is light with typical Pilsner malt and hops. The appearance is pale gold with a smaller sized head. The flavor is like the aroma and is sweet. The palate is thin. Just a very average not so tasty beer. aracauna (2384), Georgia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 14, 2007 Pours a clear, pale gold with a lacy head. The aroma has faint musky hops over nothing much else. The malt in the flavor is watered down and wimpy. Has more flavor and punch than the Southern Flyer, but that’s about it. yayforbeer (647), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 21, 2006 Pint on tap at the brewpub. Light hop aroma. Clear golden yellow beer with a decent white head. A decent brewpub beer. A little pale malt flavor and some hop flavor and light bitterness. Just a little better than avereage.
