Commercial Description:
Toll Tender is a copper-colored ale with a pronounced hop aroma due to the time-honored tradition of dry hopping. This American-style India pale ale is a single hop varietal beer that gets it's flavor and aroma from selected Magnum hops.

Tap. Light cereal not e for the malt, moderate smells of pine and orange peel for the hops, light musty barnyard for the yeast (which might’ve been really dirty tap), and wood, pepper and faint fruitiness in the background. Head is creamy, white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is slightly hazy orange tan. flavor is lightly sweet and acidic to start, and the finish is lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery and has a lively carbonation. It finishes lightly astringent and quite dry. A little lacking in depth of flavor, but still a good IPA

On tap at the brewpub. Copper with a white head. Nose and flavor are very malt-oriented for an IPA, but it is a solid offering. Caramel with a mild citrus presence. Nice.

Big caramel malt aroma with light citrus notes.Dark amber with a diminishing white head. Massive caramel malt blast at first sip. Hops are very muted, in comparison to the malt and pretty low for an IPA, but as an amber/pale ale this is pretty awesome and I personally like the flavor a lot.

On tap at Florida Brewers Guild Fest 2007. Pours copper with off white head. Fair citrus hop aroma that’s inviting on a hot day like today. Nice balance between citrus hops and sweet roasted malts. The flavors seem to compliment each other to the finish.

The aroma has plenty of hops and malt. The appearance is pale gold/amber with a smaller head. The flavor is bitter in a somewhat astringent way with some citrus and malt. The palate is pretty average. There really wasn’t anything wrong with this beer but I wasn’t really impressed.
