Regular version
Kind of ugly - hazy dull amber. Aroma is mostly fruity hop. Fresh, fruity flavour. A little thin on the malts but it’s tasty enough. Score for this version only.

Cask, dry-hopped with cascade
This was woodier and spicier than the regular Toll Tender, and drier in the finish. Thus, I found it more well-rounded and generally more enjoyable. 3-7-7-4-14 = 3.5

Clear amber body with off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, orange. Taste is medium sweet, orange, grapefruit, some bitterness but not overly intense. Medium body with light resin.

on tap-pours a light tan head and amber color. Taste has some bite. A nice beginner IPA. Nice. Dry hopped on hand pump pours a retaining light tan head and hazy amber color. Aroma is mild citrus/pine hops. Taste is mild citrus/pine hops, secondary medium malt. Minimum carbonation. A mellower and mustier version.

Text book amber-colored ale. Crystal clear with a creamy, off-white head. Good retention and lacework. The nose is malty and fruity with notes of white pepper. The flavor is malty and fruity up front; bitter on the backside. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Lengthy, pleasantly bitter finish. Worth trying. Damn nice!

Draft. Clear amber with medium white head. Good IPA aroma and flavor with medium sweet finish. Very drinkable brew.

RerateHad on cask this time - same recipe - has a lovely foaming pour and the head lasts the entire time - nice and thick. Very mellow bitterness for an IPA - more like an English Pale Ale. Much better on cask. Original 2.9 Had on tap at the brewpub. Good lacing on an off-white thick head. Has a bit of a smelly feet aroma. The flavor has a decent citrus back bite hoppiness quality to it. Overall a decent brewpub IPA - needs a bit of refinement though. Typically hoppy bitterness is missing in the aftertaste.

On tap at Florida Brewers Guild Fest 2007. Pours copper with off white head. Fair citrus hop aroma that’s inviting on a hot day like today. Nice balance between citrus hops and sweet roasted malts. The flavors seem to compliment each other to the finish.
