Can’t complain, a nice smooth creamy taste, didn’t seem artificial any of the numerous times I opted for this one. Pretty good for an everyday brew. Cavie (1493), Fort Worth, Texas, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 16, 2009 The best thing this one has going for it is the colour, which is a clear and very dark copper. The large, foamy head was ivory in colour and left some nice lacing. Then we start to go downhill. The aroma is a bit floral/hopped but no malt notes to speak of. The taste at least offered a hint of malt but little else, and the mouthfeel was essentially watery and weak. I would NOT recommend this beer and seriously doubt the claims on the Shaftebury website that "this is BC’s favourite cream ale". 09maso3 (69), vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Aromas are vague..some fruits some cereals
Light body. weak malt spine watery character.
fast light ale with some lagered character but totally indistinct. Clean crisp when cold with modest flavor and character...about as close to a corporate brew as you can get patricks110 (285), Alberta, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 12, 2008 Had in a bottle from Bottlescrew Bills, Calgary AB. Pours a dark golden reddish colour with a very thin white head. Aroma is of grain, and of malts, not much else. Taste of earthy, nutty and malt- slightly sweet and grassy. Medium bodied and unusual mouthfeel. In conclusion, this beer is okay. Not overly wonderful, but still a prettu good drink. Would drink again. I would like to taste more of the beers from this brewery. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 6, 2008 Smells of corn and a hint of malt, amber, small off-white head. Tastes of malt and corn, medium bodied, sticky sweet ordinary. Thanks jerc. radiomgb (2068), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Feb 15, 2008 Dark amber in colour, thin white coloured head, no lacing. The aroma was very grainy and dirty, stale pale malts. The flavour was a dirt and soil, earthy malts, some light sweetness seems to make this worse. Lightly bitter mouthfeel, light body, medium carbonation. Finishes light, watery. Seeing the word "dirt" in a rating over and over can’t be a good thing.
