Apr 6, 2009 Cask @ GBBF 2008. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with some hoppy hints. Fruity malty hoppy flavor with some hints of caramel. Sweetish malty hoppy bitter finish.

Sep 16, 2008 Clear amber with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with caramel and mild hoppy notes. Sweet and hoppy flavor with fruity and caramel notes. Ends bitter.

Sep 2, 2008 Copper-brown body colour with bubbles around the rim of the glass. Malt-fruity smell. Rather sharp flavoured on the tongue with dark bitter fruits. Unvaried, though, and not much for the palate (hand-pulled cask, GBBF, 07.08.2008).

Aug 15, 2008 Cask@GBBF2008. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, fruits and some wood. Flavour is much the same with some ashes and yeast in the finish. Mouthdrying and papery palate.

Aug 15, 2008 Cask gravity from GBBF 08. Chestnut, thin lasting beige head. It’s a slightly fruity slightly sharp best bitter. Some toffee, bit of seawater on the end. It’s ok, not great, but its a decent yeasty best bitter.
