A Mes rate: Gravicask at Pigs Ear.
Opaque black with a slight mahogany hue. Lovely coffee aroma, malt up front with a fruity backbone and slight bready yeasty notes. Lovely toasty malt, caramel and fruit packed flavour with a nice delicate but lingering bitter finish. Smooth as a babies bum on the palate. A glorious stout.

Cask, Pig’s Ear BF 2007. Coffee, liquorice, nice dryness in the finish. A little smoke, but not too much.
