Cask conditioned gravity, White Cliffs BF 08. Pale copper colour with lasting off white head. Toasty aroma. Some fruit. Bit of butter/caramel, bit meaty/pate. Bit of sulphur. Not wonderful.

Cask @ Market Porter, Borough. Dark amber colour with thin head. Aroma is like golden syrup / yeast / caramel. Taste is fruity / earthy / slight alcohol / caramel. Finish is bitter / spicy. Nice beer.

Cask @ The Market Porter, Borough, London. Nose of dried fruit, cream, malt, berries and brandy. Pours a ruby coloured beer. Lightbodied, sweet, malty, some powdery bitterness. Not bad.

Cask, The Highcross, Leicester. Amber brown with an off-white head. Aromas are woody and earthy with toffee malts. Spicy hops with pear. Flavours are sweet toffee and Autumn fruit with some citrus. Earthy, sweet hops with some chocolate. Spicy and addictive.
