Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, marzipan. Flavor is light to moderate sweet with a average duration. Borring !! Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat to soft. (270708)

Very pale golden brown colour with an oily film head. Faint hops and malt with a characteristic Leek Brewery sour / infected note. Something that smells oddly of hand cream in there. Honestly. Slight sweetness and a nice spritzy palate are its most redeeming features. Other than that it’s bland as hell.
Doppelganger (1197), Oxford, Oxfordshire, England
Dec 20, 2007 Warm copper, fine just off-white head. Day on the farm smell. Hay, flowers, a bit of barnyard dirt. Rustic and good. Flavor shows soft appealing Goldings character, clean light malt, a bit of mineral finish. Very light bodied, and the hop character takes a few sips to fully develope. This really hit the spot. Lots of nice understated character.

Apr 27, 2007 Bottle. Still looking golden beer with a nice fruity and dry aroma. The flavour is fruity, well hopped with a nice light dry finish. Overall an average beer.

Nov 30, 2006 (Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 23 Nov) Pale amber/orange colour with small head. Fruity nose with apricots, slightly sweetish. Fruity taste with apricots and marmalade. A bit sweetish, but with a fairly nice hop taste in the finish. Goes down easy, but not really exciting.
