[CASK: The Waterhouse, Manchester 24/04/07] Reasonable middle range ale that lacked excitment that my perception had build up from the name. Not to shabby but could have been so much more.

Cask, Greenwich, England. Somewhat hazy amber body, small white foam. Nice aroma, a good bit of spicy British hop and crystal malt toffee sweetness. Smooth texture, low carbonation, medium-lean body. Good hop and malt presense on the body. Solid bitter finish. A nice bitter.

27th August 2008. Frothy orange beer. Just a light hop prescense under the creamy malt. Let down by a powder dry finish.

Cask. Rich amber beer with an off-white head. light caramel and light earthy aroma. Fruity (mostly summer fruits) flavor with some caramel. Medium-light bodied. Tropical/sumemer fruits linger with light caramel.

Cask @ Horse & Hound, Broadway, England. Muddled amber pour, zero head, flat, flat, jumbled mess of a beer, no cohesion.

Smell isn’t too exciting, some barley and malts, and not very strong. Looks alright, very creamy, dark brown-amber, though it was in a pub so I can’t be sure of that. The taste was refreshing, lots of barley, but not very bitter and definitely too watery. A decidedly average bitter.

Cloudy amber with a small off-white head. Grainy malt aroma with biscuit and grass. Sweet and fruity malt flavour
