Somewhat hazy amber body, small white foam.
Nice aroma, a good bit of spicy British hop and crystal malt toffee sweetness.
Smooth texture, low carbonation, medium-lean body.
Good hop and malt presense on the body. Solid bitter finish.
A nice bitter.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 2, 2009 Smell isn’t too exciting, some barley and malts, and not very strong. Looks alright, very creamy, dark brown-amber, though it was in a pub so I can’t be sure of that. The taste was refreshing, lots of barley, but not very bitter and definitely too watery. A decidedly average bitter. Tremo (4), Wincanton, England does not count | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 7, 2009 Amber in colour.
