muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA Jan 5, 2006 Pint at the brewpub. Tiny lasting head over a translucent dirty brass-colored body....sweet, predominantly grapefruity nose with lots of cherry also, hints of caramel and vanilla.....body at first silky, then syrupy (when warmer), full of fairly intense fruity bitterness/tartness, touch of alcohol presnce, tiny bit smoky....somewhat too mineralic at the finish, and a touch smoky and rough. Good but not really one of the better recent Shed offerings (even among IPAs).
