Dec 26, 2005 Straight deep amber, off-white cover. Minty hops join the otherwise malty nose that has a pleasant earthyness to dose the caramelly crystals adequately. Tartish and mineral palate with that typical rocky dryness, saltiness that kills the malts. Light bodied, fair carbonation. Arduous.

Dec 8, 2005 CLear amber color with a thin offwhite head. Aroma of toasted malt with sweetness. The flavor is similar, toasted malt and sweetness, it’s decent. The body has a medium thickness with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation. Decent but not enough to be good.

Caramel sweetness and peachy fruitiness lay on wet soil. Faint roastiness peers through.
The Festivities:
That treacherous mineral water character is still there. A few citrusy hops precede an earthy, resinous bitterness. Caramel fruitiness is well-balanced with the hoppiness, but that invasive dirtiness always nags.
Transcendence:
Newspaper stains.
