muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA Aug 1, 2005 Pint at the brewpub. Dark, almost clear honey-amber, moderately lasting small creamy head...powerful, very fresh grapefruity nose, hints of vanilla amidst the stinging citrusy acidity...earthy, dry and bitter body, crisp autumn leaves crushed in with just enough fruitiness to make it drinkable....long, very dry finish. Not spectacular, but very drinkable, and the best I’ve had from this brewpub in a long time.
