Jan 31, 2006 Cask pint at American Flatbread in Burlington, VT. Clear amber-brass with a tiny smidgeon of lasting off-white head....luscious apricot-honey aroma, hints of oak and pine appear along with a bit of bourbon vanilla, enthrallingly fruity-sharp and strong....somewhat syrupy-fruity body, subtle bitterness builds very slowly....thins out quite a bit towards the end, soft carbonation makes this soothing and fine to sip rather than guzzle. Not the Shed’s best recent IPA by any means, but solid and effortless.
