Bottle. Deep amber in color with a little head. Fruity hoppy malty aroma. Fruity caramel yeasty notes. Toasted malty fruity flavor. Fig and coriander notes. Well balanced. Medium bodied. Very easy drinkable. Very nice.

Handbottled. Pours hazy to murky brown with a lacing white head. Oxidised and fruity aroma. Smooth and sweet flavoured brew. Light bitterness and spice note following although quite oxidised. Fruity lingering into the finish.

Bottle at Pauls Gathering. Lots of caramel, dried fruits and oatmeal with a yeastiness that reminds me of Westmalle. Cereal and toasted malts round it out. Really easy drinking.

Bottle thanks to hopdog: Pours a transparent dark copper mahogany with a spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet dark caramel malt with some bready Belgian yeastiness and light fruity esters. Starts fairly full and dark caramely malty sweet with some authentic Belgian yeasty complexity. Nicely balanced, slightly warming and doughy caramely sweet. True to style and enjoyable.

Thanks to CaptainCougar for this one. Black body, little head. Aroma of yeast and fruit, notably apples. Flavor is quite boozy and alcoholic. Dark fruits are evident.
