Commercial Description:
An English-style strong ale. This brown ale has great malt depth and drinks like a session beer.

A rotating ale, commercial description an English old. Drinkable, amber with a white crown to it. Chocolate malts in taste, sourness follows. Odd but fruitiness, barley and malt. Not significant hop here.

Draft. Poured a dark charcoal body with thin head. Aroma is light malt and coffee. Flavor is light hops, chocolate, coffee and malty. Smooth but an odd mix of flavors. Good ale.

In what seems to be the typical Shed style it was not very carbonated and had a sweet malt flavor. Easy enough to drink anyway.

Growler. Pours a red tinged clear brown with a small white head. Not much in the way of lacing. Main flavor is malts with a light caramel nutty background. This is a smooth drinking session type ale. Best consumed fresh. This is another one of those brews that I thought was the greatest thing in the world before exposure to Ratebeer. Now its just an old friend.

On draft at Red Square, Burlington. Poured deep brown with very thin head. Appeared poorly carbonated. Lots of toasted malt, toffee, caramel flavor. Meh.
