Jokes (1453), Chicago, Illinois, USA May 7, 2005 Clear amber body with a soft, frothy white head. A unique aroma of strong hops and sourdough bread. Not too sweet or malty and also not too crazily hopped or bitter, but certainly interesting. The body is fairly light, but good for the style and good for the spring. The flavors are fairly well balanced and the sour aspects seem to drop out here, leaving nice, citrus hops, a touch of pine and some dry bread. A fairly tasty beer that’s rather reminiscent of some other Two Brothers beers: good, but not great. Oakes (8057), gone rambling, Vietnam Jul 4, 2003 Orangey-amber. Cascade aroma, with a touch of amber malt. Lemon, whole grain bread...typical straightforward APA. Good for what it is.
