Thanks TimE for opening this! Very phenolic initially, but really seems to open up after being in my glass and walking down the streets of Tokyo with it. A lot of hop bitterness, but medium to low hop aroma, possibly from some aging. Dryish. Nice.

Jul 24, 2009 Pours copper with a thin tan head. Smells of wildflowers, earthy, toasty. Tastes earthy and peppery with some perfumy notes and a spicy finish.

May 26, 2009 Bottle from TheBeerOrg. Good citrus and floral aroma. Copper body with off-white head. Citric flavor, cool and crisp and also some chewy malts in the mix. Good refreshing beer!

Mar 24, 2009 12 oz. bottle from Tmoney99. Pours a deep amber color with a medium beige head. The aroma has moderately sweet caramel malt goodness with an equally impressive floral and citrus hop presence. The flavor is well balanced with a caramel/toffee malt backbone and floral, earthy, and light citrus hops coming together nicely. The bitterness lingers well into the finish in a good way. This was a surprise because it had no hype, but is definitely a very solid beer.

Jan 7, 2009 got this bottle in lexington. pours red brown like most beers with one eigth inch head. its actually super hoppy. i havnt had soomething this hoppy since nicks wedding dec 6. aroma is a tiny bit malt,, then relentless hops. all cascade. my keyboard is being cleaned btw so i’m typing on the pads of the keys without sight. whatever. this is a monster beer if its their flagship. so fucking hoppy and clean and tasty. not super bitter but still hoppy. i love this. 8%, that’s wild. guess its not the flagship

Dec 28, 2008 12oz bottle thanks to daknole. Nice orange pour with a decent white head. Very good hop aroma, nice and piney and fresh. Nice flavor, citrusy, with a good hop bite in the end. Darn good ipa.

Dec 16, 2008 Bottle thanks to 505flavours at home. Alround rating: Sweet pale malts, touch of caramalt, citrusy, big on the grapefruit and lime, floural dryness. Whether or not it was deliberate im not sure but it seemed to be lacking carbonation, but i like that in a beer.
