scraff (1921), Baltimore, Maryland, USA May 23, 2006 Very hazy gold, thin white fizzy head. Nose was not typical pale ale. It was slighlty fruity, yeasty, and earthy, with softer notes of pear and apple. Flavor was similar, but with some additional underlying wheat tones sprinkled throughout. Light bodied, medium carbonation, earthy, semi-bittersweet finish. Not a Pale Ale in my book, but whatever. At least the name of the beer was cool...
