beachbum25 (778), Powellville, Maryland, USA Oct 17, 2009 On tap @ Brewpub-Hazy off orange color w/a moderate white head. Had a mild apricot aroma. Kind of flat, like every beer poured here during my visit, had a dominating apricot flavor w/wasn’t too pleasant, threw the whole brew out of balance. They were calling it an apricot Hefe, but it was so sweet & had no carbonation it didn’t remind me of a Hefe at all, just a bad fruit beer. I wouldn’t drink this again. kmweaver (2396), Sebastopol, California, USA May 17, 2008 Draft @ Shenandoah. Pours a hazy, golden-orange color; creamy, light tan head with solid retention and fine-bubbled lacing, coating the glass. Lots of perfumy peachiness and dry, toasty maltiness in the aroma; nicely dry to compensate for the imperfect peach presence. Nice presence in the mouth; average carbonation and medium-to-full mouthfeel: lots of peach syrup, candy sugar, and toasty maltiness; reasonably pleasant, dry fruit presence; syrupy nature is compensated for by the lack of stickiness overall. Medium finish: peach syrup and toasty maltiness; ends dry.
