yobdoog (1425), Woodridge NY, New York, USA Jun 9, 2008 Thanks to kmweaver for the bottle. Very nice and sweet aroma of apricot. You can pick out that dried apricot essence too. Highly carbonated gives it a nice fluffy white head on the clear yellow body not quite clear. Taste has much of the same and is well rounded with a hint of sweetness. Good carbonation. Very nice fruit beer for a pils style. kmweaver (2396), Sebastopol, California, USA May 19, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a clear, dull golden color; bright white head with solid retention and fine-bubbled lacing. Dry, peachy / apricot aroma (like fruit cocktail); a touch of mineral bitterness, but not much. Medium mouthfeel: chewy, apricot syrup and fruit; pleasant feel in the mouth: lively, fluffy carbonation; the syrupy aspect is obvious, but (like many of the Shenandoah fruit beers), it’s kept in check through the overall dryness and cleanness of the end product; basic, drinkable, fruity stuff. Medium finish: apricot syrup, fruit cocktail, and bread.
