Nov 18, 2006 From a bottle at RFD. Amber beer with a thin off white head. Malty nose with some berry fruitiness. Fruity flavors with caramel sweetness and tangy orange. Some cardboard and a bitterness in the finish like rough grass.

Oct 8, 2006 A hazy orange beer with a lazing light beige head. The aroma is sweet and slightly hoppy, but also with a light malty note. The flavor is sweet with a crisp malt note, leading to a dry nice bitter finish.

Amber color, light head and lacing. Nose of light hop and malt, citrusy. The flavor is grassy, nice and floral, a bit held back, but decent.

Sep 23, 2006 Bottle Sept 2006. Poured a deep amber. Head was quite large and fluffy. Aroma was pretty good; hops and spice. Roasted malt and hops; more of the former. Taste was good, but I like Pale Ale’s alot. No where near the best in its style.

Jul 13, 2006 Bottle... Clear, deep golden ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Very good retention. The aroma is peppery, earthy and citric. Malty-sweet flavor. Caramel, toffee and spicy hops, but not enough for balance. Medium-bodied with a tannic mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Sweet and then, suddenly dry finish. More English than American in my book. Not a very strong offering, but not at all offensive. It’s beer!

Apr 17, 2006 Pours amber with a two-finger white head. Interesting aroma of American hops, tea leaves, and some spice. Tastes like they forgot the malt and half of the hops. That tea comes in on the finish and brings its friend: a clod of dirt.
