Bottle courtesy of kmweaver. Thanks Ken! Rusted amber pour with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is odd. Burnt barbecue sauce, berries and spices. Definitely odd. Taste is strong berry, more barbecue sauce, soft funk and yeast and light damp earth. Body is light and very fizzy. Lingering barbecue and berry tartness. The finish evokes more barbecue but it leans towards pulled pork along with more berry and berry tartness, light yeast and soil. Not really a true lambic.

12oz bottle courtesy of yobdoog. Pours a murky dull orange with a 2 finger bubbley off-white head and nice lacing. Nose is berries, yeast and a smokey gunpowder – like a firecracker – I know, weird huh? Taste is light berries, spice and smoke again. Crisp, dry finish. Interesting brew – thanks Trevor!

Thanks to kmweaver for the bottle. Aroma takes me back right away. Growing up I ate boysenberries and currents right off the bush. Aroma is sweet and tart and unmistakable boys. Dark clear brown purple color with a small white head. Sweet fruit, berry slightly tart but more sweet. Ever so slight funk essence drying it out which is very nice. Overall very good.

12 oz bottle, shared by kmweaver. Pours a hazy reddish amber with a small fizzy white head. The nose shows a little fruit sneaking out past all the band aids present, but I’d never guess that it was boysenberries. Then again, I don’t think I’ve ever had a boysenberry. Note to self: get some boysenberries at first chance. The flavor is a weird mix of band aids and blueberry. Little to no resemblance to a lambic. A little drier and dustier on the finish than the strawberry. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a slightly doughy stickiness up front and moderate fizzy carbonation. Overall, I just don’t know what they were hoping for with this.

Poured orange with a small white head. Aroma was tart fruit and funk. More tart fruit, funk, belgian yeast, and almost something I want to describe as red kool-aid. Finished very light, some decent tart notes. I wish this was just more...flavorful. Still good. Thanks ken!

12oz Bottle, courtesy of kmweaver. Aroma carries this distinct run of enteric bacteria again. An overly young lambic character. This version comes dashed with raisins and sweet generic fruit to cut the aroma. Pours a clearish rosy peach. Flavor is tannic, biting, rubbery and a bit watery. Also an embarrassment to lambic and boysenberries. Bitter. Spice mingles again. Lightly sweet, but mostly unbalanced yeast by-products and water. Not good.

Courtesy of kmweaver. Hazy amber body with a small off-white head. The nose is fruity in this one with berry, some sugars and dough. The flavor is fairly dry, lightly tart, astringently bitter with dough, metals and pithy citrus. Medium body is rough with moderate carbonation.

12oz bottle shared by kmweaver. Moderatley murky semi-deep purple. Decent boysenberry and grape soda, there’s actually seddiness present, so it’s better than the strawberry, at least. Pasty, moderately tart, stale yogurt, very pallid and empty throughout, but the body is moderately frothy and chewy. Not terrible, smells much better than it tastes, but overall it’s not really that good.
