Shenandoah Cherry Red

Draft @ Shenandoah. Pours a dark, hazy, orange-brown color; off-white head with fine-bubbled lacing and solid retention. Pleasant aroma: this actually smells like how I’d imagine wheaty, light cherry cola; very pleasant; not overly sweet. Relaxed carbonation. Medium mouthfeel: again, light cherry cola and wet malts (not tea; there’s no astringency or mouthdrying character); basic, pleasant, drinkable cherry-cola beer, whether it was intended to be that or not. Medium finish: dry wheat, cola, and a touch of fruit.
