Bottle from kmweaver, thanks! Very dark, cloudy brown with large head that goes down quickly. Aroma is exactly as advertised: kind of like the cheap, glazed chocolate donuts from Entteman’s(sp?). The taste doesn’t live up to the aroma in terms of coming across as a chocolate donut. It’s there, but an odd, fruity sourness dominates for me. I love the gimmick, but the taste definitely didn’t do it for me. Thin and quite carbonated.

Bottle, thanks to puzzl. Dark brown pour, some tan head. Aroma is like the prepackaged chocolate donuts from the grocery store. Flavor is the same. Interesting, but thin palate.

Man, this is a weird one. Aroma is quite subtle, with a hint of cocoa. It really does taste like a glazed chocolate donut. Sweet icing sugar flavour over the chocolate. No bitterness and the palate is a bit thin, but it’s decent enough.

Tastes like donuts yeah but the body is a bit on the thin side. I get some nuts in there too. Tasty and I like the experimentation but nothing too special to see here.

Bottle shared by pepsican. Thanks. Poured a dark brown color. Nearly opaque. Head was light brown. Aroma was of chocolate and lightly roasted malt. There was also a slight sour dark fruit note. Body was on the thin side. Slightly sweet on the tongue. It tasted more like a chocolate pretzel than a donut. There was also a bit of white paper.

Thanks for sharing pepsican. The body was cloudy brown with a very light brown head. The aroma is chocolate donuts with some walnuts. The taste has some milk chocolate and frosting. There is also a little bit of walnuts. A decent stout, but it doesn’t quite work.

Bottle courtesy of lb4lb. Pours dark brown with a creamy tan head. Smells of chocolate, caramel and doughy. Tastes tangy with some decent chocolatey hints and some tartness on the back end. Lots of spice is present as well as touches of dark fruit.

Bottles from lb4lb and yjb. Pour is mahogany with a large off white head. Aroma is decent...chocolate donuts. Flavor is weak chocolate and has a strange metallic note. Body is thin.
