Pours a translucent chocolate brown color with a foamy tan head. Sudsy, droopy legs try their best to cling to the glass. As the brew warms, the nose evolves from a malty, sugary pool of chocolate into the exact, distinct aroma of Dunkin’s glazed chocolate cake donuts! Amazingly, the flavor captures this essence as well. Glazed chocolate donuts dipped in chocolate milk are all that really come to mind. Very lactic and sweet. Medium-full, smooth bodied, and incredibly easy to drink. It is truly incredible how they have captured such a distinct sensory profile. This beer is liquid donut in a bottle, and I love it.

12oz via Kmweaver, shared with my girlfriend Cyn. Pours dark brownish with a 1 finger tan head. Nose is really interestingly sweet and chocolatey. Taste is sweet but thin with a choco donut vibe. Overall interesting, not amazing.

Bottle courtesy Degarth. Pours a dark brown with a large tan head that fades leaving good lacing. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, bready malt, and as the beer warms the chocolate donut starts to come through. Taste is coffee, roasted malt, and bready malt with the chocolate being almost non existent. Medium thin mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness. Good.

Dark brown with a beige head and decent retention. Chocolate, ashy, and roasty aroma. Taste was a little metallic, had some chocolate and bready notes, somewhat similar to chocolate glazing. High carbonation and light body. Decent beer, but I couldn’t have too much of it.

Chocolate and malt. Really like drinking a doughnut. Well named. Thanks to pepsican for sharing this with me.

HUGE thanks to kmweaver for hooking me up with this for my girls B-Day! Yes this beer is a novelty beer, but it managers to also be really really GOOD! Nice and oily, a really sweet chocolate aroma. Taste is lots of roasts and malt and of course, chocolate donuts. I was really impressed with how close they came to making this taste like an actual chocolate donut! Nice and sweet and delicious. Thanks again, I owe you big time!

12oz bottle acquired in trades with kmweaver adn badbeer (thanks!). Poured a dark brown color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of chocolate donuts (is the donut really there or is it in my mind!) with some roast, and light caramel. Tastes of chocolate donuts, some caramel, light brown sugar sweetness, and roast. Reading some of the other ratings, I’m glad mine wasn’t sour! This one was different and I enjoyed it!

I was @ Shenadoah Brewing Company for my birthday party to brew 2 beers and they had this on top. IMPROPERLY POURED. They used straight CO2 instead of "beergas" nitrogen/co2 mix. Thus no head. Definite chocolate aroma, and taste. Almsot a cakey taste as well. Very good beer, but just too much cake flavor for me. I was impressed they could brew it. Novelty beeresque.
