Bottled. Amber with lovely white head, settling. Fruity, hoppy aroma, feathered by musk perfumes. Full rounded malt flavour with a generously rich mouth feel. Smooth and silky.

Amberish clear color. Smally, fizzy head. Malty, nutty and caramel taste. Not too hoppy, which would make this a much better ale.

Nice transparant brownish color with a nice thick white head. Taste is sweet with a nice balanced bitterness.

Refreshing hoppy nose, copper hue with an off-white head, well balanced taste with the malts slightly outweighing the hops, thick palate, quite a warming alcohol finish

[The new version] An amber beer with a great head. The aroma is very faint malty. The flavor is malty sweet with hints of smoke and nuts. A fine beer - but not outstanding.

[The original version from 1998 sampled in 2006 - 9.2% ABV] An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of wood and caramel - and so is the flavor, while the mouthfeel is a bit sticky [7/4/7/4/15]

Wholesome dark amber beer with a caramel and lightly hopped aroma. A vineous flavour mixed with caramel producing a refreshing brew.

Ligth amber coloured. Not much head. Has a sweet aroma with notes of chocolate. Flavour as well is vague chocolatish and mildly sweet. Is well balanced and has pleasant bitterness in the end.
