A chance discovery! A delightful ale, smooth and slightly fruity with a good strong aftertaste

Damn what I would give to be slamin’ a pint of this ale right now. Big malt nose and a decent bite, hearty me lad! a great beer.

A fruity, spicy, good volume beer. On the sweet side. Could have been an excellent scandinavian ’juleøl’.

Nut brown. Full bodied, rich, very nutty, complex and well balanced.

Bottle. Lovely beer. Good malty flavour, with some typical Shepherd Neame hop bitterness. A superbly drinkable beer, be careful it is 6.5%!

Hoppy aroma, slight, spicy smoky taste an unusual, good flavour. Good texture & strength.

Bottled. Copper colour, foamy beige head, lacing. Fruitish aroma with weak bready hints. Also weak caramelly hints and very weak hints of alcohol. Flavour of sweet malt along with some breadish and roasted notes. Also some hoppy notes. Very smooth flavour and palate.
