Has aromas of malts and burnt toffee. This followed throught in to the taste, with the burnt toffee coming through in the aftertaste. The alcohol is not too imposing, although this could be deceptive if you’re driving. Good carbonation and fairly smooth on the palate. I had this chilled on a warm summer’s day and it was very refreshing. sinkas (182), Perth/Fremantle, Australia

Delicate but rich malty and spicy aroma. Sweet malty background with an impressive amount of pommy flavour hopping. Very pleasant Maria (6323), Thisted, Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 1, 2007 This beer has a nice head and beautiful golden colour and a wonderful aroma. The flavour is very aromatic and round with a lot notes of fruit and flower. The bitterness is moderate, briefly leaving the impression that it should develop, but then it stops abruptly. A very tasty beer. pantani (1902), Salinas, California, USA

Sweet aroma to start, and then a smack of honey hits you on the first taste. As it goes down the full bodied strong malty ale taste comes through. downender (2634), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England

Some malt and summer fruits in the aroma, with a bit more malt in the flavour and a dryish finish. Nothing to write home about. beervis (223), People’s Republic of Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, England
