Tempting color, tickles the nose. More acidy than the stronger version and less bitter, less hops, less aroma, less everything, but still not bad.

Nice fruity aroma, not much wrong with its dark amber colour, strong fruity taste, a bit nutty and spicy, a little bit watery but still leaves a distinct taste.

09/10 0.5 l bottle from the English store, Antibes. Couldn’t swear this is the right version, but the green 3,5% label rang my bells when saw this image. Brown to reddish bodied brew with smaller ocher head. Caramel, coffee, some chocolate and a bit of orange in its aroma. In flavor only orange is dominant, there are some toast and caramel, but just in traces. It’s bitter, with thin body and shorter bittersweet finish. Quite liked this one, despite slightly thinner body.

Nice red colour with a decent head. Nice fruity aroma. Like its cousin Spitfire it also tasted quite fruity. However it was a god bit drier than Spitfire which lost it some marks and not as much of a finish either.

Pours red/amber with a dull hopped and roasted malt aroma carries to the flavour. Mostly citric hop and some caramel with earthy malts. A bit better than Spitfire.

Dark copper/wild honey color. Medium beautiful beige head. Strong hoppy aroma (slightly dunk). Very dry malt taste with hints of toffee. Hopped, maybe a bit watery finish. Light bitter aftertaste. This could be good if it wouldn't be so watery (lacking ABV).

1 Nov 2004 - Slight hop spirit and light malt aroma. Clear orange-brown colour, nice head retention, and suds lacing that stays on the glass. Light malt hoppiness. Big lingering hop bitterness, medium mouthfeel and subtle fruit aftertaste.

500 ml bottle. Copper colour. Crystal clear. Medium-sized off-white fine-laced head that clings to the glass. Sweetish nutty and malty aroma with clean earthy hops. Crisp hop flavours. Mouthfeel is light and crisp, but also watery. Finishes somewhat empty because of the water. Drying grassy hops in the finish.
