| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 25, 2007 Bishop’s Finger is a dark amber beer with a large, creamy beige head, although this quickly disappears. Light and hoppy fruit aromas greet the nose. Upon tasting, one’s tongue receives a pleasant amount of dry malt with a medium lasting bitter hop finish. There’s nothing terribly elaborate about this bitter but it’s very drinkable. SamGamgee (1469), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 22, 2007 50cl can from systembolaget. Pours a nice clear, sparkling brown with a small and fleeting white head. Aroma is mild, but has some faint tart, sour hops and some mellow malt. Body is a little thin and carbonation slightly bubbly. Flavor is very working class and straight forward: not very malty or sweet, not too bitter, but manages to hit you with a little malt and hop character by the finish. Balances nicely into a medium finish where some bitterness shows up. Nothing to get worked up about, but pretty drinkable.
