Jan 27, 2009 Bottle - Clear red/amber with thin beige head. Medium carbonation. Malty, caramel, background. Plenty of hop flavour (East Kent Goldings) with a lightly bitter finish.

Jan 20, 2009 For a pale ale Bishops Finger had a rather ruby hue. Pouerd eo a nice head which held down the glass.
What I really enjoyed about this beer was the contrast between a fairly sweet aroma and a bitter aftertaste. The fruity flaour that does come through matches the bitterness by being rather tart. worth a try!

Jan 13, 2009 Pours clear, red-amber colour. Fine dry hoppy aroma with fruits, nut, hint of caramel and malts. Rich taste. Beautifully bitter. Wide and balanced mouthfeel.

Dec 22, 2008 This was a slight red hazy color with the aroma of fruit. The taste was good with the bread and bitter hopps coming into play right away. Overall this is not a bad beer and looks good in the glass as well.

Dec 1, 2008 0.5L bottle, clear copper red colour, quite beautiful. Small stable fluffy head that lasts for a while. strong and dominant aroma of hops with whiffs of herbs and tea, some sour bread notes acompanying. Taste is very bitter withy almost no sweetness whatsoever, also sour bread and barnyard aromas. Aftertaste is also dominated by strong bitterness with touches of sourness.

Oct 30, 2008 Shared w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a nice golden orange color. Aromas of floral and fruit. Flavor toasty malt, hop bitterness with a slight hint of citrus.

Oct 22, 2008 (bottle) pours a copper-amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of roasted malts, light bread and bitter herbal hops. flavour is the same, with a more grainy quality. medium body and cabonation with a roasted-bitter finish.

Oct 11, 2008 this beer tasted too astrigent for me, the aroma reminded me of sweet tea, it bites off strong but the rest is unpleasnt licorice and a bit woody.
it is possible I got a bad batch.
