Absolutely fantastic pint at the mabel tavern, i’ve been waiting a while to try this on cask, love the bottled version but this was fantastic. everything i like in the bottle but dialed up a notch with a great body! huge fruity body...stalky raisins perhaps and a great lingering bitterness....we walked down to russel square and i could still taste it 20 mins later!

Cask at the Betsey Trotwood. Pretty red-amber color with lowing white head. Nose of hop resin, like pellets, and not unpleasant. Soft carbonation with mild hop-bitterness, emphasizing that green, resiny aroma. Nice enough stuff.

Cask at the Wharf, Aalborg. It pours a clear, slightly dark golden body with a nice finger-thick off-white head leaving lacings. Malty nose with caramel and a subtle piney and citrusy hop print. The flavor presents piney, orangey hops on a malty background with a good dash of caramel. Some orange-peel bitterness blend in, leading to a bitter, piney finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gentle. A quite dry one, but über-quaffable, the kind you could enjoy all-night without getting very bored. (090205)

A hazed amber ale with an extra thick onctuous light moka head. Light nutty malt aroma, non-descript. In mouth, a light malt with rather metallic hops. Thin bodied, unsatisfying. On tap at JD Wetherspoons, Heathrow, Mid November 2006.

Ålborg, DK @ The Wharf. Dark yellow to light amber color with a fine head. Quite pleasing hop aroma - not too strong, not too light. Light body and a good balance of malt and hop bitterness. A hint of sweet on the initial finish and then bitterness for the lasting finish.
