Cask gravity @ Ølfestival Aarhus 2008 @ Charlies Bar.
Clear medium red brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lancing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, grass, pine. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft - flat. (180508)

Handpulled cask at JDW Watford. Lively pint, brown with good creamy head (without sparkler). Juicy malt with good resinous hop flavours. 20 years ago all of Sheps beers were as good as this. It’s nice to know they are still capable of producing a quality ale showcasing their local hops.

Cask. It’s a dark amber with an aroma of malt, fruit and pumpkin. The flavour has a light, smooth sweetness with notes of caramel, roasted malt and a slightly dry and bitter citrus. It’s uncomplicated and charming.

Clear amber with tiny off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with mild hoppy and caramel notes. Flavor likewise with floral hops and a discrete bitter end.

Cask @ Aarhus, 2008.
Pours deep brown amber with a great, creamy yellow-white head. Aroma is very pleasant, fine caramel, pine, grass and flowery hops. Fine carbonation, lightly creamy. Good flavour, some caramel with a great hops profile. Dry bitterness with pine and grassy hops. A big positive surprise for me.

Great beer and the first time I’ve tried it on cask. Twice ass good as the bottled version that I have normally tried. Good aftertaste.
