Vintage 2005. Pours a dark orange with a white head. Bitter sweet flavors. Malty aromas a bit whiskey-ish. Rather creamy. Mellow hoppiness. A bit boring, not woth the effort to experiment with ageing of this stuff.

Looks very nice with a good white head that lasts well. Nose is a bit disappointing, was expecting more of the typical Shepherd Neame pronounced hoppiness, but that was a bit lacking. Smooth and malty palate, with sharp bitter hops in the background. overall a fairly well balanced brew, quite like this!!! Alldays Jedburgh £1.99.

Poured from the bottle, a dark amber colour. Malty aroma with a hint of fruit. Many flavours - spicey and some tangy fruits. Maybe a bit tart.

Vintage 2005. Much better than last year. A soft ale, with a ruby-red to golden colour and with a soft taste of hops and spices.

Bottle at home (031130). Vintage 2003: Dark amber with a small light brown head. Aroma moderate malty and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium body, watery, soft carbonated. A well-balanced Christmas ale.

50 cl bottle vintage 2005. No yeast in bottom. Amber colour with a weak head. Very nice aroma of fresh fruit with an overtone of ananas. A great fruity taste with some cacamel tones. Not bitter and dry, but have a long nice tasty finish.
