Commercial Description:
Pasteurised bottle.
This golden amber ale has a generous aroma of tropical fruit. The fruity flavour has hints of mangoes, oranges, lemons and sultanas. The pleasant floral hop balances this beer perfectly. It is a drying, warming, rounded ale to sip and savour at leisure.

Bottle. Clear amber colour with a medium creamy head. Rich aroma of malts with hoppy and fruits notes. Nice beer.

Bottle: pours a light copper colour with a rapidly disappearing head; aroma has hints of fruit and hops; taste is very sweet and metallic, the mango is present, but it’s hard to pick out anything else in the sticky sweetness. Disappointing.

500ml bottle bought at Systembolaget and consumed during Die Stadezeit with Catweazle and Finn. Nice bottle design, but with a so-so content. Dark amber in colour. Fading white foam. Fresh malty aroma with hints of fruit (apples). Light caramel flavoured turning into a kind of woody sweetness. Watery and thin palate. Not much for a British xmas ale (28.12.2006).

Pours light copper with a large head, disspating quickly. Metallic hoppy aroma with a medium hopped metallic body. Watery, somewhat of a letdown.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber colour with a longlasting off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with some hints of caramel, dark fruits and hops. Sweet malty bitter caramel flavor. Malty caramel finish with a bitter aftertaste.

Bottle. Yellow and clear with no carbonation.Fruity and pleasant. Call me old fashioned but should a Christmas beer really have a light appearance?

[Bottle] Copper colour, low but dense head. Aroma is washing-up liquid and some caramel. Fizzy mouth feel. Flavour is hazel nuts and bitter almonds.
