Dec 31, 2006 Bottle: pours a light copper colour with a rapidly disappearing head; aroma has hints of fruit and hops; taste is very sweet and metallic, the mango is present, but it’s hard to pick out anything else in the sticky sweetness. Disappointing.

Dec 28, 2006 500ml bottle bought at Systembolaget and consumed during Die Stadezeit with Catweazle and Finn. Nice bottle design, but with a so-so content. Dark amber in colour. Fading white foam. Fresh malty aroma with hints of fruit (apples). Light caramel flavoured turning into a kind of woody sweetness. Watery and thin palate. Not much for a British xmas ale (28.12.2006).

Dec 26, 2006 Bottle. Pours a clear amber colour with a longlasting off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with some hints of caramel, dark fruits and hops. Sweet malty bitter caramel flavor. Malty caramel finish with a bitter aftertaste.
