Oct 2, 2007 Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is flowery hoppy with notes of elderberries and a light touch of malt and caramel. The flavor is malty with notes of toffee and an elderberry note of hops, leading to a light bitter finish, which is quite dry with hints of wood.

Jul 15, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Clear amber colour with a tall, dense, off-white head. Sweetish, caramelish nose. Medium body with a soft - almost velvety - mouthfeel. Sweet notes of caramel malt and a whiff of nuts. The finish is dry with a subdued bitterness. Well crafted. 150707

Mar 18, 2007 50 cL bottle. Pours amber with littel white head. Aroma is fruity with sweet malt notes beneath. Almost perfumed aroma. Taste is fruity hops with a nice initial malt sweetness which goes into a rather dry / soft bitterness in the finish.

Nov 23, 2006 Bottled. Copper coloured, mediumsized "naturewhite", foamy head. Aroma is hops, grass and some malt with some metallic hints. Also some slight fruits. Flavour is flowery hops, slight caramel malts and also a bit metallic in the flavour. Weak orangejelly in finish along with the grassy hops. Not really any aftertaste.

Nov 14, 2006 500ml bottle from Trafalgar Wines, Brighton. Amber colour with lasting off white head. Shep yeast and rich fruit aroma. Too much boiled sweet malt. Relatively good strong bitter hop finish. Interesting mix of raisiny candy sugar and strong hop. Curiously likeable. Candy sugar is a bit too obvious. Shame really as the rest is pretty good. Raisiny cherry plum fruit and good bitter hop finish. Some caramel.
