Clear amber red body with fluffy white head. Sweet malt aroma with good hop support. Some currants and raisin in the taste with slightly warming alcohol, a little burnt caramel and nice bitterness towards the finish.

Spicy and complex beer. Fruity and nutty character. Roasted malt. Wintery caramel sweet with herbal touch. Appealing dark orange color. Medium and enjoyable carbonation. Lightly dry and hoppy bitter aftertaste.

Bottle from 24hr shop in Southgate. Aroma is toffee and caramel malts, grassy peppery hop, christm,as pudding spice is subtle but there. Taste is similar, quite drinkable. However theres a small skunky note, which im guessing is from the fact it was from a random newsagent in a clear glass bottle and was nearly out of date.

(Bottle) Amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity nose with citrus (Seville orange, mandarin), dried apricots, toffee and hints of spices and fresh ginger. Fruity, malty taste with Seville orange, dried apricots, spices and sweetish hints of strong wine (Madeira?). Balanced notes of earthy, citrussy hops in the finish. Slightly above medium body, rather sweet with some alcohol shining through. Tasty and warming (even on a cold spring evening).
