Bottled (4.5%). Deep orangeish golden colour with mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is grainy, ashes, zest, some mild notes of nectar. Flavour is grass, citrus and some mild paperyness. As it warms up some nuttyness and mild herbal notes also become present. Not much aftertaste.

Orange-copper brown color, small mostly vanishing white head. Odd stale aroma: ash and paper with hints of orange. Typical Shepherd Neame -flavor: nutty hoppy with "hard water mouthfeel". Ashy with light citrusy fruityness (mandarin) in the finish. Overall quite light - propably is much better from cask, now gives out very "filtered" and lame clean flavors. This beer is propably ok after sauna or with spiced food.

A Mes rate: 50cl bottle from Shamansburys.
Absolutely god awful. Smells very pukey. Tastes of regurgitated tobacco. Amber with no head. Poor palate. Comically bad. Really can’t face it.

From bottle. Malty, nutty aroma. Copper in colour. Nice bitterness, hops and fruit. Thin yet satisfying.

Bottled. n amber coloured beer with a whitish head. The aroma is a litte sugary and there are some earthy hops and cardboard. The taste is a bit of sticky marmalade and wet paper. The malty flavours are not particularly nice. Poor to average.

Golden with a nice, white head. The aroma is hoppy and the initial flavour has notes of clover, melon and honey. It’s crisp and quenching all the way through and it has a nice long finish. A nice summer beer!

500ml Bottle (Gallows Bird, Espoo) Smells of hops - not just of hoppy beer, but of real hops. Very complex taste, gingery, hoppy, malty, none of it overpowering. Actually, there’s guava in the taste! Probably a great session beer, as it has no negative elements at all.
