| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 31, 2006 (Bottled) Colour is amber, with a big frothy head, disappearing and leaving some lacing. Nose is hoppy, grassy and flowery with notes of fresh hay and citrus (grapefruit). Lovely aroma. Taste starts malty and fruity with a smooth and fresh hoppy finish, notes of grapefruit here as well. Medium body, easy to drink and refreshing. The bottled version is slightly drier and less fruity than the cask version. Nice and refreshing! lgklotet (420), Singapore, Singapore
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 26, 2006 Amazing hop aroma and flavour, a bit too light in body to stand alone. Perfect with food though. Very refreshing, very good overall. scotty (834), Scotland
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 18, 2006 This has that typical Shepherd Neame nose, lots of hops! Good clean attractive mid brown in colour. Rather light for my liking, but that makes for a refreshing brew. Hops again dominate the dryish palate, and linger on the finish. Ok, but a bit boring really! Sainsbury StueyD (590), King’s Lynn, Norfolk, Norfolk, England
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 19, 2006 A deep amber, brown beer, with a thickish white head. The nose has a zestiness, quite citruy, with a strong hop aroma, and a hoppy finish. The taste is dry, hoppy, again with the citrusy element. There is a slight maltiness in the finish. The aftertaste is long with a dry hoppiness. (Bottle - Purchased from Melton Wines, Melton Mowbray, in the Bargain box for just £1 a bottle!) harrisoni (6830), Ashford, Kent, England
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 18, 2006 500ml bottle from Sainsbury. One of my favourite Sheps beers. Copper colour with rocky off white head. Beautiful hop flower aroma and Sheps yeast. A bit of a star this one. Some biscuit. OK in mouth but not with the fullness of the cask version. Superb hop flavour on end. Some caramel. screwball (801), Motala, Sweden
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 17, 2006 Light amber in colour. A white head. The aroma is full of fresh hops with a citrus feel to it. The flavor is quite the same. A refreshing bitter.
