Clear coppery brown color. Medium head is white. Aroma is toffy malty, bit fruity, dry and citric. Flavor is malty, citric and hoppy. Medium-bodied and kind of foamy carbonated palate.

Jul 12, 2008 Handpulled cask at JDW Watford during recent international beer fest. A refreshing and tasty beer with a notable hop presence. Slightly earthy with hints of palma violets and orange zest, the hop matches well with the light, mildly sweet pale malt. Good balance, so that the hop is is well felt without being in any way aggressive.

Jun 17, 2008 500 ml bottle. Deep golden color, lasting whitish head. Piny/grassy aroma of hops, crisp bitter taste with a malty finish. Very drinkable.
