S&N’s beers all tend to lean toward the hops, HOORAY!, as I love those hop flowers. Great floral nose that reminds me of Marigolds? great malts also, but its the hops that wins my praise.

Mature foamy head. Golden color, round appealing fragrance, bitter hoppy flavor balanced with just enough sugar and water to be a very enjoyable summer drink.

Very long lasting smooth head with a lightly hopped and slightly sweet flavour. A very palatable summer bitter.

Nice rich amber color. Hops and bready malt aroma. Slightly woody. Clean and bitter finish. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Dry aroma with some caramel evident. Crystal clear amber body with excellent, frothy, white lace. Hop character takes a few sips to materialize. Dry, peppery, crisp hops. Not hoppy in the U.S. sense, but also different entirely from the English bitter. Excellent hop bite. Underrated and recommended.

Colour is a pleasant light-amber/orange. Good floral/hop aroma, caramel and rain water. The flavour is initially wishy-washy -- a little disappointing. The bitter hops finally show through in the middle, offering nuances of grapefruit. Finish is quite woody. Overall a fairly dry brew, on the palate and in spirit.

500ml clear bottle from the <a href=http://www.lcbo.com/ target=blank>LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario. Caramel colour, thin beige coloured head, some lacing. The aroma is lightly hopped (herbal, some grass), sweet caramel malts, earthy. The flavour has a nice hop bite to it (herbal and floral), light caramel sweetness, earthy, iced tea characteristics. Moderatly bitter mouthfeel, medium body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes with a lengthy bitterness. A nice bitter.

500 ml clear bottle, bought at Systembolaget. ABV is 4.5%. Deep golden to amber colour, big head, slightly off-white. Moderate aroma of floral hops, hints of grass. The flavour has pleasant Goldings hops throughout, on a relatively dry and biscuity background, with just a slight fruitiness. There are definitely worse summer ales than this one around. Highly drinkable.
