Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 17, 2001 Dryish, good porter, but not a standpoint. A bit of hopsack in the aroma. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 04/22/1996

argo0 (6145), Washington DC, USA Feb 11, 2002 This is my favorite porter. The roasted malts balance marvelously with the medium hoppiness (British hops, naturally) to go down ever so smoothly. Creamy head. oh6gdx (5739), Vaasa, Finland Apr 28, 2008 Draught. Very dark ruby brown colour, very close to black. Aroma is yeast, hops, mild roasted malts as well as some chocolate. Flavour is quite sweet and mildly acidic fruityness along with roasted malts. As it warms up also some coffeeish and chocolateish notes become present in the flavour too. Nice, but still quite watery. duff (5404), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Jun 24, 2001 i’m not a huge fan of porters, but this is ok.
